2015 has started full force.  I have two great design clients that are keeping me busy and on top of that I started working at a great place called Simple Things three days a week.  More to come on Simple Things but definitely check it out of you have not heard of it.  It's a amazing retailer of upholstered and slipcovered furniture.  They also sell one-of-a-kind antiques, antique rugs & amazing repurposed industrial furniture.  I have also been spending a lot of time with my husband's youth group (particularly the 8th grade girls that I am leading) & adult leaders as well as building back up my wedding photography business.  Sooooo I haven't taken all the photos of our house yet, but here are a few until I can take an afternoon to finish.  We have loved starting our marriage and life in Texas in our little 1500 sq ft home.  It was built in 1929 and the previous homeowners remodeled the bathrooms & kitchen.  We mainly have painted the walls, ceilings and we have changed a few light fixtures.  We did also strip our mantle and stained it and we chipped off the plaster that covered the bricks.  Erik from Old Style Designs made our amazing dining table & coffee table and Camille Moore made our roman shades!  A huge thank you to them both!  If you live in DFW we would love to have you over on our front porch for a cup of coffee or glass of wine!
